Along with extrusion, injection moulding, and moulding, blow moulding is the principal method for creating hollow objects and the most widely used technique in the production of plastic goods.

To create a semi-molten tubular parison from the thermoplastic resin, it is first extruded or injection moulded. The parison is then softened and placed in different types of moulds.

Compressed air is introduced into the parison after the mould is shut, and the parison, which is sealed in the cavity of the mould in a rubber-like state, is inflated by gas pressure to form a hollow product near the inner wall of the cavity.

Continuous extrusion blow molding refers to the continuous extrusion of the tube blank by the Blow molding machine. When the tube blank reaches the set length, the mold is closed, the tube blank is cut, and the mold is moved to the next station for inflation, cooling, and stripping. mold.
